WE LEARNED INTERESTING THINGS ABOUT IDS IN A FUN WAY!!!
Plenary
A UNICEF member kindly explained us how an organization is formed.
After the plenary students made a brainstorm about how to create an organization in our class.
Each one used a different visual organizer to represent their reflection.
Their action: students got in groups to develop tools to get the cleaning problems of the class solved.
And finally: The Presentation
Groups #1 and #2 prepared amazing PPTs and videos.
Groups #3 and #4 made fabulous models and amazing presentatios.
Introducing Our Second Unit:
Who We Are
Triggering Engagement: Mistery box.
Students with their eyes closed had to guess what products were inside the box.
After finding out and making the list of things inside the box, they reflected and realized that all the items were related to our bodies and our health.

We have been exploring investigating and discovering in Library, I.T, P.E, Drama, lab, museums etc. about this unit

OUR NEW UNIT:
WHERE WE ARE IN PLACE AND TIME
Central idea: "Civilizations evolve and influence the present".
The kids discovered which the new unit was when they saw the movie: The Prince of Egypt.
The visit to "Huaca Pucllana" was very enriching.
HOW THE WORLD WORKS
As part of this Unit of Inquiry students brought to class amazing experiments to show their understanding about chemical or phisycal changes of the matter.
They were amazing!!
